The VACUUBrand BVC fluid aspiration systems are a compact biochemistry vacuum for safe, sensitive and efficient aspiration of supernatants in all application areas. The BVC Basic is intended for connection to an external vacuum source, while the BVC Control and the BVC Professional models are equipped with VacuuBrand's ME-1C, a high performance, chemically resistant diaphragm pump. All systems are available either with a vacuum-resistant, autoclavable 4 liter (4L) polypropylene (PP) bottle or with a 2 liter (2L) borosilicate glass bottle ('G' suffix), e.g., for working with aggressive disinfectants such as chlorine bleach.

Disinfection routine for the suction tubing draws in disinfectant after switching off the pump. The disinfection routine allows the suction of disinfectants through aspiration handset and tubing after switching off the pump to support demanding safety protocols,
