The VACUUBrand BVC fluid aspiration systems are a compact biochemistry vacuum for safe, sensitive and efficient aspiration of supernatants in all application areas.  The BVC Basic is intended for connection to an external vacuum source, while the BVC Control and the BVC Professional models are equipped with VacuuBrand's ME-1C, a high performance, chemically resistant diaphragm pump. All systems are available either with a vacuum-resistant, autoclavable 4 liter (4L) polypropylene (PP) bottle or with a 2 liter (2L) borosilicate glass bottle ('G' suffix), e.g., for working with aggressive disinfectants such as chlorine bleach.

• BVC Basic - A mechanical vacuum regulator to provide optimum working vacuum control and to minimize the vapor load on an existing external vacuum source like a diaphragm pump or a vacuum network (e.g., vacuu·lan®), with a stable base and electricity-free operation.

• VHCPro Chemical-resistant mechanical vacuum hand controller always ensures an optimal operating vacuum. The controller opens only when needed thus limiting the gas load on the vacuum source. The evaporation of collected liquid is minimized. All systems are ready for connection of a second hand control.  

• Inlet tubing integrated in the bottle head reduces aerosol and foam formation and ensures a long service life of the hydrophobic protection filter. 

• A 0.2 µm protection filter for high protection against contamination of the environment,

• Disinfection routine for the suction tubing draws in disinfectant after switching off the pump.  The disinfection routine allows the suction of disinfectants through aspiration handset and tubing after switching off the pump to support demanding safety protocols, 

• Self-closing quick-connect couplings with 4l pp bottle(as optional accessory to the BVC Professional G) Enable convenient and safe bottle changes, e.g., for work with biohazards associated with professional biochemistry work and are designed to meet laboratory required safety protocols and to minimize the risks in transporting hazardous waste and of contamination in the workplace.
